Hi! I am Laura Michele, a home-baker located in Far North Dallas, TX. I started Cakes & Cups in early 2021 and have been sprinkling the area with sweet desserts ever since.

My love for baking started as a kid, watching my mom create fun themed birthday cakes for my brother and me each year. I’ll age myself by admitting my first baking experiments were done at a young age in an Easybake Oven - I am sure all the 90s kids can relate! I assure you, I am now far more advanced in my skillset and my utilities!!

I’ve always found joy in baking delicious treats and I truly love to create unique, custom-made, designed cakes and cupcakes. My goal is to create desserts that are inspired by my customers that look just as good as they taste!
